• Close the Global Digital Divide

Although completely closing the global digital divide is an enormous undertaking, it can be narrowed noticeably on a local and regional level by acquiring and distributing new and used mobile phones, tablets, notebooks and desktop computers to technologically underserviced students, individuals and schools who are unable to fund the often large upfront costs of obtaining this technology. It is Global Digital Divide’s stated goal to obtain such technology and distribute it to qualified recipients in Costa Rica and, locally in the USA, to those who would benefit the most which includes firefighters injured on the job, injured and disabled police officers, disabled verterns, kids with cancer and retired people. These collection and delivery efforts by the Organization will continue as long as the ‘global digital divide’ exists.
